1)Seed files on bittorent
Hundreds of thousands of people use bittorent daily, creating endless oppurtunities for you! For example, you can create a zip file with a passworded zip inside. Leave a readme.txt saying to retrieve the password you have to download it at your download link here on sharecash! You'd be surprised at how many people will start downloading your text file!

2)Post to forums
There are a plethora of web forums on the internet with millions of users. Many forums have sections for downloads, and some are even dedicated to solely providing files. Upload a file that you know will be popular and post it to some active file sharing boards, and let the downloads - and cash - roll in!

3)What kind of files?
There are millions of uploaded files on the internet, but you want to find the one that will be the most popular and get the most downloads. These normally are videos of some popular event, like a soccer tournament, pdf's or free ebooks, game demos, game cheats, music files... the list goes on and on. Just make sure the file isn't copyrighted or sexually explicit!

4)Use youtube
Youtube is the new fronteir for internet marketing. By simply creating a video about a program, a song, a band, etc, and giving the user a download link in the video description will score you thousands of downloads, and dollars!

5)Peer-to-peer file sharing
Many people use peer-to-peer file sharing networks, like limewire or emule, to share files. You can use this as a spinoff of the bittorent technique, but instead of seeding your file just share it on these networks and let the downloads start rolling in!

The wires were glowing constantly during the past days, and we have been able to implement some additional technical improvements. Of course the usual Premium Happy Hours from 2 a.m. to 10 a.m. CET remain active, so during that time only 10% of your traffic usage is counted.

Preparing for the transition into a new rates system

As mentioned earlier, we are going to replace the current system of rates to one that is more modern and advanced in it’s efficiency. We’ve begun this process immediately. Today we’ll delve into the preparatory phase of the transition.
First, the new system will not add the balance for sales, but this should be fully compensated by the rates. The new rates will be set primarily in accordance with the ratio of sales as well as several other parameters. Note that this does not mean that this will not be possible without the sales income.
As you may have guessed, we are about to introduce the system which may be familiar to some partners; where the rates are determined by the status of the account. The base status, which would be set for everyone by default, won’t be less than the average rates currently used on Uploading.com. And, for the most active partners, status will be immediately upgraded up to 1 or even 2 levels (total we have planned 4 levels of status).
Separate rates will also be introduced by file sizes. Within these new rates we intend to increase the maximum possible payment for 1000 unique downloads. In addition to this, we are going to expand the list of paid countries.

We already have the approximate rates, but we can’t publish them at the moment. Over the weekend we are going to test a new system and implement it around the middle of next week.
Until Monday, some errors may become evident in the statistics, but all stats are stored and maintained in a separate script. We’ve had to disable the calculation of sales to make possible this transition into the new system.

Changes in the handling of RapidPoints

From RS: As you know we are constantly trying to improve your experience with RapidShare. This includes simplifying our system, fighting fraud attempts and, of course, improving your benefits. In order to accommodate those needs, we have modified the way we count the RapidPoints generated by Premium Users. There is no 255 points limit per day anymore. This means, you can get an unlimited number of PU RapidPoints per day. The PU RapidPoints will not be stored separately, but added directly to your RapidPoints total, so they can also be used immediately. Every Premium User can generate 10 RapidPoints per day for other users by downloading their files. Those changes take effect immediately. If you would like to see how many RapidPoints and PU RapidPoints you have received each day, please let us know. We consider adding this information as an evaluation feature in the future.

Affiliates: How can i become platinum member / raise my rank?

Essentially to reach a higher status your links should sell more premium accounts. Here are few tips that may help you to be promoted to a higher type of uploader and eventually to reach the platinum status:
* - Don't post links to different file hosting sites for the same file. This kind of mirrors allows users to simultaneously download from different sites and they have less incentive to buy premium.
* - Don't switch every day to different file hosting service - that way people are less willing to buy a premium account, as they will need multiple premium accounts from different services to get all the content and that is more expensive.
* - Do not upload files that you will not promote. Used server space is also accounted when your rank is considered.
* - Put more effort into bringing more visitors to download your files, rather than to upload more files. If you are uploading 10Gb of files everyday just to have every file downloaded few times you are going to stick with Copper.
* - Don't post on resources that have popups, try to install troyans and similar stuff. This way users do not have much trust and are less willing to pay.

How does the recruitment of new customers work?

* In this case the corresponding number of ReferrerPoints will be removed again from your account.

What is the exchange rate?
* The exchange rate tells you how much a ReferrerPoint is worth in money (in combination with 1000 RapidPoints, see below).
* ReferrerPoints on their own are of no defined value. Their value depends on the exchange rate which can change over time. Just like a real currency it will be worth less when a lot of it is circulating and worth more when there's less circulating. Other than on the stock market there won't be tremendous changes within short periods of time.

Why can I redeem ReferrerPoints only in connection with 1000 RapidPoints?
* Basically the exchange rate always consists of 1000 RapidPoints and one ReferrerPoint. Here we assume that 1000 RapidPoints are worth 0,70 €. If the exchange rate is at 2 €, the ReferrerPoint itself will be worth 1,30 €. To make things easier, just imagine the ReferrerPoint is worth 2 € and the exchange per ReferrerPoint costs you 1000 RapidPoints of handling fee. This combination is set up to prevent attempted fraud.

By which means will the money be paid?
* To get your money transferred you will need a Paypal account.
* After we verified that your ReferrerPoints and RapidPoints were accumulated conform to our rules, the sum will be transferred to your Paypal account.
* This may take four to six weeks.
* We reserve the right to pay off only a part of the requested sum, e.g. in case ReferrerPoints had to be taken back from your account because of withdrawn payments of the new customer. It's understood that in this case we charge fewer RapidPoints according to the situation and the leftover balance can be requested again later.

What are the exact terms of participation and when do we verify if they have been fulfilled?
* From a technical viewpoint just like with RapidPoints every user participates automatically, but we will only check the compliance with our conditions once a payout has been requested. Our Terms of Service apply for participation in our affiliate program.
* Users who accumulated their ReferrerPoints by distributing files they were not allowed to (see our Terms of Service) won't get paid off. The same applies for users who got their ReferrerPoints by advertising in connection with that kind of files or on illegal websites.

Will payoff be possible by any other means than using Paypal?
* We are taking other possibilities into consideration, but for now decided to start with just Paypal. Suggestions can be submitted to our support team and will be processed to the division in charge.
