Depositfiles Uploader - is a program for easy files upload to
Depositfiles.com without using a web browser.

Options:
- simplified file upload process;
- unique opportunity to divide big files onto smaller ones with a help of archiver;
- uploading files into your Depositfiles account without a web browser;
- uploading one file or group of files;
- choosing the priority of the files to be uploaded;
- the program can work according to a schedule and you can set up the time when your computer needs to be switched off after it finished uploading;
- uploading process is both easy and pleasent!

First steps:
* In order not to loose your files we recommend to upload these into your account. Go to "Options" in the menu in the"Account" tag and type in your login and password (if you don't have an account with Depositfiles, you can register one here - this is totally free).

* The program automatically splits big files (more then 100 Mb) onto smaller parts with help of archiver so that you could add the files bigger then 100 Mb to the queue for upload. To switch this option on, please indicate the route to the Winrar archiver on your computer. To do this please check the box with "compress files bigger then..."and indicate the route to the folder with archiver. The archiver can be downloaded here.

Advice:
- You can choose the way to export the links to uploaded files: either to copy to clipboard or to save it as text file. To do this, please go to "Options" in the menu and in the tag "Main" choose "clipboard" or "notepad".

- You can choose the format of the links to uploaded files. In menu tag "File" go to "Copy links" >> "Edit Link format templates" and set it up the way it's easy for you:

[url=%down%]%file%[/url] - link in bbcode format
%file% - link in html format
%down% %file% %size% - sequence:"link-file name-file size"
any link format-choose any that's convinient for you!

If you want to upload a file bigger then 100Mb - just add this to the upload queue and the program will offer splitting the file into smaller files and then will add these to the upload queue!

Pay attention that for this function to function properly, you need to go to "Options", choose submenu "Main" and indicate the route to the archiver program, mentioning the minimum size of the file and mark the option if you wish to activate it.

At the moment the program can be used only together with WinRar archiver which can be downloaded from official website.

Also please pay attention to such options as:minimize to tray, transparency of the program's panel, option of starting and stopping uploading according to the settings you make, etc.

Points accumulated in one month cannot be converted to cash or tokens until the following month. For example, points earned in January can be convereted to cash in the beginning of February, for payment on 15th February.

You need a Premium membership to qualify for cash payments.

Rapidshare website down!

Rapidshare website down. Today Rapidshare is down completely for the whole world. The premium Rapidshare-users are outraged over this some sudden downtime that they have been experiencing for a while now. There was no offical notice on rapidshare’s website about the downtimes.
Maybe the Rapidshare owners are saving enough many to buy the “High-End” PCs for the contest who knows unless we get an official response from Rapidshare we may never know what the real reason is behind the recent downtimes that has been happening to many people and not to the rest.

As of 19 January 2008 16:00 GMT, Rapidshare's servers appear to be offline. There are rumors that Rapidshare has been shut down by the authorities after a court order, however, court records do not reveal any issued Rapidshare court order as of yet. Rapidshare technician Steven Gircham has commented on this issue: "There are rumors concerning attacks made on the Rapidshare.com servers. There are also rumors that Rapidshare has been shut down by a court order. These rumors are false. We would like to apologize to our users and inform them that no data has been lost. There have been some hardware issues as a result of high bandwidth and server overload. We are doing our very best to resolve the hardware issues, and users should expect uptime by midnight tonight (GMT)"

Depositfiles: Prize index

Attention! Depositfiles always aim at improving the conditions for our users and giving the existing Bonus Program Participants more opportunities to earn! Now everybody can improve his profit with Depositfiles by adding little more efforts in the right direction!

The Prize Index (from 1 to 100)

2) 20-39-you get +10% in addition to your earnings

The size of your files.
Whether your file is easy enough for your friends to download. Note that really big files are not very popular among the users as such files are difficult to download in one connection without using Gold Downloading Mode, in this case we suggest splitting a big file into several smaller parts with the help of archiver. (we remind you that Bonus Program will not count the files less then 1 MB and more then 300 MB)

Rapidshare: Important changes for Uploaders

On November 10th, we (rapidshare.com) will launch our storage revision program.

Accounts that use more than 20 GB of storage will be marked as "XXL" accounts by our system.
If any files associated with an "XXL" account have not been downloaded within the last 90 days ("inactive files"), those files will be deleted automatically.
As soon as the account's storage is less than 20 GB, no further files will be deleted.
Of course, no active files (i.e. files that have been downloaded at least once during the last 90 days) will be deleted. This means, we still offer unlimited storage for active files.
Your account's current storage utilization is over 20 GB, which means your account will be marked as "XXL".
Please check your account for files that you no longer need and remove them.
This helps to avoid the deletion of files you would like to keep.

You can check your current storage utilization at any time in the premium zone, right above the files list.
