Depositfiles: Prize index

Attention! Depositfiles always aim at improving the conditions for our users and giving the existing Bonus Program Participants more opportunities to earn! Now everybody can improve his profit with Depositfiles by adding little more efforts in the right direction!
All Bonus Program Participants acquire their Personal Prize Index which defines the amount of money that will be added to your main earnings!

The Prize Index (from 1 to 100)
1) 0-19-your current earnings (100%)
2) 20-39-you get +10% in addition to your earnings
3) 40-59-you get +20% in addition to your earnings
4) 60-79-you get +30% in addition to your earnings
5) 80-100-you get +40%in addition to your earnings

E.g: Today you earned $10 and your Prize Index is 62. In accordance to the table given above you get +30% ($10 x 30% = $3).That is your today's earning makes $10 + $3 = $13.
You will see the Prize Money in the column Prize on the Bonus Program page.

Note: The Prize Index can only be applied to those users who collected 7000 downloads and more! New downloads-counter starts on the 1st of each month.

Factors influencing Prize Index:
Your activity
how often you upload files
number of users who download more then one of your files per day
which countries the users who download your files come from.
Popularity of your files
number of users who download your file completely (excluding those who stopped downloading and including resumed downloads)
the total number of downloads of your files per day,week,month
how many users who downloaded your files purchased Gold-account to speed up the downloads

The size of your files.
Whether your file is easy enough for your friends to download. Note that really big files are not very popular among the users as such files are difficult to download in one connection without using Gold Downloading Mode, in this case we suggest splitting a big file into several smaller parts with the help of archiver. (we remind you that Bonus Program will not count the files less then 1 MB and more then 300 MB)

Activity of your Referrals
The quality of your Referrals is more important then their quantity.That is your Prize Index also depends on how effective your Referrals work in Bonus Program.Note: the list of your referrals can be found in Referral area.

Rapidshare: Important changes for Uploaders

On November 10th, we (rapidshare.com) will launch our storage revision program.

Accounts that use more than 20 GB of storage will be marked as "XXL" accounts by our system.
If any files associated with an "XXL" account have not been downloaded within the last 90 days ("inactive files"), those files will be deleted automatically.
As soon as the account's storage is less than 20 GB, no further files will be deleted.
Of course, no active files (i.e. files that have been downloaded at least once during the last 90 days) will be deleted. This means, we still offer unlimited storage for active files.
Your account's current storage utilization is over 20 GB, which means your account will be marked as "XXL".
Please check your account for files that you no longer need and remove them.
This helps to avoid the deletion of files you would like to keep.

You can check your current storage utilization at any time in the premium zone, right above the files list.

How to Get 1-month Rapidshare's premium-account?

To get 1-month RS's premium-account you must collect 10000 points. You will get one point per download if the downloader is a free-user AND your file is bigger than 1 MB AND the downloader has generated less than 5 points in the last hour.
Registration. For get free collector's account upload any file from Rapidshare's homepage. After the upload you will be asked automatically if you want to have a free Collector's Account. After registration you can see you Collector's Zone. If you collect 10000 points then you can exchage this on Premium-account (Click "Convert points" button in your Collector's Zone).

Some of previously undescribed about Earn-program of Depositfiles

1. Only the files meeting the below requirements will be considered as paid:
- files bigger then 1 Mb;
- file downloads from Russia and USA (for new members; for other see previous publication);
- files which links were placed on web pages (only web pages) To be able to earn money for downloads Bonus Program participants must not place the links in icq or email. Make your links clickable!

2. While registration in Bonus Program you obtain $5 as welcome bonus, though to withdraw this money you need to reach the amount of $40.

3. DF count only unique IP addresses within 24 hours. That is if one person with one and the same IP address downloaded 10 of your files, your statistics in Bonus Program will show only 1 download from this user.
What’s unique download? It’s downloading of your file from one IP address. Which means that one person can download let’s say 10 files from your account but it will be counted as 1 unique download. To get 10 downloads into your account, your file need to be downloaded by 10 people.
Note: such restriction is created to protect the system from fake multiple downloads by one and the same user).

4. You can get the Gold-Account for free! To get our Gold-Account for a month you need to reach 5000 unique downloads of your files. If you collect 10000 unique downloads of your files, DF give you Gold-Account for 6 months.

Some useful features of Rapidshare

Many do not use all features of share-services. So I want to tell you about some features of Rapidshare.
1. Check RapidShare-URLs for availability
You can add a list of RapidShare-URLs of your choice and we will check if all files exist on our servers. If the file does not exist, the link will be shown in red. If the file exists but the server is down, the file will be shown in yellow. If all is ok, the link will be shown in green.
- Go to check page
- Enter one URL per line. Example: http://rapidshare.com/files/72635215/filename.zip
- Click "Check URLs"
- Enjoy! :)

2. Remote-uploads (only for Premium-users)
- Go to your premium-zone
- Click "Remote-Uploads" button
- Enter one URL per line. Just enter one link (http://.... or ftp://....) per line and we will upload that file(s) for you to RapidShare. The RapidShare-link(s) will automatically appear in your premium-zone. You can use http:// and ftp://. Make sure the file is not bigger than 105.000.000 bytes (100 MB), or the process will abort. More infos in our FAQ. If you click on the upload-button without giving an URL, the page will be refreshed without doing anything else. This way you can track your remote-uploads in real-time! You can enter one URL per line. Don't forget that all transfers start at once! If you enter 100 URLs, which are all located on the same server, some downloads will probably fail.
- Click "Start Remote-upload" button
- Wait... and enjoy! :)
P.S. After uploads you must delete uploaded links. Max quantity of links is 100. If you remote-upload many files then it is a problem. Not exist "Check all" button. :(
